The project for the restoration of the complex of Escuelas Pías de San Antón, damaged by fire few years earlier, is the result of a competition launched by the City of Madrid and the Official Association of Architects of Madrid (COAM). The competition program included the New Headquarters for the COAM and the COAM Cultural Foundation, a nursery, a day care and senior center, mixed sport facilities and a music school.
